We were pleasantly surprised by our spacious and clean room at Sawmill Creek. The recent renovations were evident, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The in-room fireplace was a cozy touch, and we also enjoyed the outdoor firepit. The grounds were well-maintained and added to the overall ambiance of the resort. Despite some minor issues, such as the lack of a fridge and the need to purchase coffee, we still found the restaurant to offer solid food options. Our stay at Sawmill Creek By Cedar Point Resorts was enjoyable, and we would recommend it to others.

Great location, beautiful settings, nice lodge right on golf course, amazing indoor pool, complimentary robes, accommodating staff, lakefront location, comfortable and spacious room with fireplace.

The location on Lake Erie is beautiful, with well-kept grounds. Private beach access is a nice touch. Parking and vending machines are convenient. Staff at the restaurant and bar were friendly and engaging. Beds were comfortable.
Could not be improved in any way.

The lakefront location is ideal for Sandusky attractions and away from busy streets. The staff at the front desk were helpful and found a last-minute room change on Labor Day weekend. The cozy lounge is comfortable and the restaurant serves tasty breakfast. The sheets and linens were soft and clean.

Over Thanksgiving, we enjoyed the indoor pool which was well-maintained and kept my family and me warm. We also found the complimentary robes a nice touch. The location of the hotel is perfect with good access to nearby attractions and restaurants. Another excellent feature was the big sitting area near the lobby with the beautifully decorated fireplaces which kept us entertained for hours.
The hotel had noisy hallways which made it difficult to sleep in during some mornings, and a lack of sound insulation made our stay unpleasant. Additionally, some of the hotel staff were unwelcoming, which left us with a less than perfect impression.
